Welcome To Dob Croft Farm

Using Hoop it all for Free standing lace.

Hello, I just finished this cute little doily

I just wanted to try something a little different since FSL is not really my "Cup o' Tea"

Well, after seeing some projects, ... Why Not!

This is easy to stitch out, one color and only 4 pieces to make a 7" doily. Only 17 Minutes per side!

I was going to use my large hoop, but could only hoop for 2sides - (face it I'm lazy) at one time.

I tried the Hoop it All Hoop and it worked rather nicely

1.  I cut a piece of solvy to  to the length of the hoop

Sprayed only the ends of the hoop so that it would stick.

2.  Cut a piece of  For lack of Knowledge - its light weight veil  lace the length of the hoop and used a little left over sticky to hold that in place.

3.  Cut one more piece of solvy  so the lace was sandwiched in the middle

Sprayed only the ends  - then.  Took some common scotch tape, folded one end for a tab and secured it to the hoop

This worked great - and put about 5 down each side and 2 pieces on either end.

This was not to hard and a lot easer than trying to re hoop the patterns - any 4x4 design could be done this way.

Thanks for stopping by my hoop it all project page!
